Is it time for help?

Signs your loved one may need home care

Changes often show up slowly, then all at once. If you notice two or more of these, it's a good time to talk.

  • Missed meals, spoiled food in the fridge, or weight loss
  • Unopened mail, unpaid bills or missed medications
  • A recent fall, or bruises they can't explain
  • Less attention to bathing, grooming or clean clothes
  • A home that used to be tidy is now cluttered or unsafe
  • Pulling away from friends, church or hobbies
  • Getting lost, repeating questions or forgetting appointments
  • A recent hospital stay or new diagnosis
  • A family caregiver who is worn out

How it works

Getting started is simple

  1. Call or send a request

Talk with a care coordinator about what's going on. We'll answer your questions and explain your options, including VA benefits.

  2. Complimentary in-home assessment

We visit your loved one at home to understand their routine, safety and personal needs, then build a personalized care plan with you.

  3. Meet your caregiver

We match a screened, trained caregiver to your plan. Your case manager checks in and adjusts care as needs change.

Not sure where to start?

Find the right care in three quick questions

Most families call us when something has changed: a fall, a new diagnosis, a parent who shouldn't be alone anymore. Answer three questions and we'll suggest where to begin.

Three questions to ask any home care agency

Veterans & surviving spouses

Your service may help pay for care at home

A VA pension with Aid and Attendance can pay a qualifying veteran up to about $2,424 a month, or about $2,874 with a spouse (2026 VA maximums), toward care at home. Many families who qualify have never heard of it. We'll explain how it works and help you get started.

Frequently asked questions

What does non-medical home care include?

Help with the activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, transportation and companionship. We do not provide skilled nursing such as wound care or injections, but we coordinate with your loved one's doctors and home health providers.

How quickly can care start?

Call us and we will schedule a complimentary in-home assessment. Once we understand the needs and build a care plan together, we match a caregiver and set a start date that works for your family.

Who are your caregivers?

Our caregivers are registered Home Care Aides with the California Department of Social Services, Home Care Services Bureau. Every caregiver goes through a Live Scan background check, screening and training before they care for a client.

Do you offer 24-hour or live-in care?

Yes. We offer hourly visits, overnight care, and live-in care with a caregiver in the home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can a veteran use VA benefits to pay for home care?

Many veterans and surviving spouses qualify for a VA pension with Aid and Attendance, which can help pay for care at home. Eligibility depends on service dates, discharge, care needs, income and assets. We can explain how it works and point you to the right resources.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve families across Orange County and Greater Los Angeles County from our office in La Habra. Call us to confirm coverage for your city.

How much does home care cost?

It depends on how many hours of care are needed and the type of care. After your complimentary assessment we give you a clear written quote for your care plan, so you know the cost before care begins.

Does Medicare or health insurance pay for home care?

Medicare does not pay for ongoing non-medical help like bathing, meals or companionship. It covers short-term skilled home health and hospice when medical criteria are met. Families usually pay privately or use long-term care insurance or VA benefits. See our Paying for Care page for every option.

What if my loved one doesn't click with the caregiver?

Tell your case manager. Chemistry matters, and we'll find a better match. Our promise is simple: if you're not satisfied, we'll work with you until you are.

Can you work alongside IHSS, home health or hospice?

Yes. Many families combine services. We can cover the hours IHSS doesn't, and fill the time between home health or hospice visits.

Will we work with the same caregiver?

We aim for consistency. You also get a dedicated case manager who stays in touch, adjusts the care plan as needs change, and is always available to your family.
